Majors are behavior incidents that are managed by an administrator. If you observe any of these, e-mail a description of the incident including the date, time, location, motivation and parties involved to an administrator.
1-1 Noncompliance: Engages in repeated or high-intensity failure to respond to adult request 1-2 Disrespect: Delivers inappropriate messages with high-intensity to adults or students 1-3 School/Class Attendance: Leaves repeatedly class/school without permission or is in an unauthorized area 1-3 Tardy: Repeatedly late to class or start of the school day 1-4 Inappropriate Language: Engages in high-intensity or repeated instance of inappropriate language 1-5 Inappropriate Dress: Repeatedly violates dress code 1-6 Electronic Devices: Serious or repeated instances of inappropriate use of devices 1-7 Trespassing: Is repeatedly on school grounds before or after school hours, or on any school property or at any school sponsored event while under suspension 1-8 Tobacco: Is repeatedly in possession of tobacco or tobacco products 1-9 Gambling: Repeatedly participates in games of chance in which money or items may be won or lost, or which causes disruption to the educational environment 1-10 Misconduct on School Vehicle: Violating any rules while on school transportation, delaying a bus, getting on or off at an unauthorized stop, riding a bus without permission, not following safety rules 2-1 Integrity: High-intensity or repeated cheating, plagiarism, falsification, or violation of computer copyright laws 2-2 Inappropriate Literature, Illustrations and Images: Possession of literature, illustrations, or other images which disrupt the educational process or are obscene 2-3 Violation of Computer Access: Using another's login or sharing own login with another, visiting inappropriate or non-school related web sites, commercial or political use, illegal activity 2-4 Class/Activity Disturbance: Engages in high-intensity or repeated disruption 2-5 School Disturbance: Causes disruption of whole or major part of school process or schedule 2-6 School Transportation Disturbance: Behavior while on school transportation interrupts or interferes with safe and orderly operation of the vehicle 2-7 Disruptive Protest: Participates in a protest, march, picket, sit-in, boycott, walkout or other activity that causes disruption of whole or major part of school process or schedule 2-8 False Fire Alarm: Student damages or interferes with a fire alarm, smoke detector or extinguisher, or sets off or attempts to set off a fire alarm in the absence of a real emergency. 2-9 Fire Setting/Incendiary Material: Student is in possession of any incendiary material or device such as matches, lighters, lighter fluid. 2-10 Property Damage: Student intentionally damages or attemps to damage or deface school or personal property 2-11 Theft: Steals, attempts to steal, or is knowingly in possession of stolen items of high value, or repeatedly violates this policy with low value items. 2-12 Extortion: Obtains or tries to obtain money or item from another by use of force, intimidation, threat or violence 2-13 Indecent Exposure/Sexual Behavior: Engages in behavior which is indecent, or in consensual behavior which is overly affectionate, or of a sexual nature. 2-14 Harassment/Bullying: Engages in any physical act or threatening communication, or repeated communications that causes another fear or harm, or substantially interferes with another's educational environment 2-15 Sexual Harassment: Engages in unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with the educational environment of another. 2-16 Threat/False Threat: Expresses high-intensity verbal or written intent to cause harm or violence, even as a joke 2-17 Physical Aggression: Engages in serious, inappropriate physical contact or fight, or takes action or makes comments that might lead to a fight or physical aggression 2-18 Failure to Report Firearm: Fails to report that another possesses or intends to bring a firearm on any school campus or school activity 2-19 Hazing: Requires another student to wear abnormal dress, play abusive or ridiculous tricks on him/her, frighten, schold, beat, harass, or subject him/her to personal indignity 2-20 Search and Seizure: fails to permit search or seizure as provided in Policy 6600 3-2 Gang and Gang Related Activity: participates in gang-related activity such as wearing gang-related items or clothes, communicating verbally or non-verbally in gang-related manner, using or possessing gang markings, pictures or drawings, or inciting others to participate in gang activity |
